Welcome to Seasons Pass, a simple yet realistic role-playing game!

What is Seasons Pass, beyond being a new and innovative pen-and-paper RPG? Well, here's the short version: It's 2218 AD and the world is just the same as it was two hundred years ago… except for the global wireless internet, nanocomputers which have rolled phones, PCs, portable media players and credit cards into one pill-sized object implanted directly into to brainstem, the fact that the practice of magic has become commonplace and was used extensively duing World War IV, and that global warming happened, was fixed, and now the climate is pretty nice most of the time.

Oh, and Cyborgs live on the Moon. They're pretty cool, though.

Your place in this world is the role of a Private Investigator for hire, only that your specialty is investigating supernatural events and aprehending people with often dangerous and extrordinary powers. Elementals who wield the primordial forces of natural, Changelings who twist and weave reality at a whim, Shifters who have the forms of both men and beasts, Phages who suck the very Essence out of other living beings, Cyborgs who are have greater physique than any man living, and possibly even stranger things.

Of course, you don't have to play as a Private Investigator, as the robust character creation system can produce nearly any type of man or woman. The PI idea is just a good way to get exposed to this world, and this is how we will be approaching most of the setting.

Please be aware this site is under construction, and while for the most part, the game is playable, it is as yet unfinished. Thank you for your interest in our game!

So, after all that, what then is Seasons Past? Well, one day, we, the writers, decided to try running the game in a different setting, so we adapted the core rules for other time periods than the “Near Future” main setting. Most of our alternate settings will be historical… but hey, we wrote rules for magic, so that might not be strictly accurate.

Right now the only extra setting we have rules for is World War II, but we plan on doing many more.
